The announcement of the category-winners for this year's Gramophone Awards has given a second wind to several releases from last year, including Weinberg's Symphonies Nos. 2 & 21 from Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Gidon Kremer, Kremerata Baltica and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on Deutsche Grammophon; the overall Recording of the Year will be announced in an online ceremony streamed on Medici TV and Gramophone's own website on Tuesday evening, as will the Lifetime Achievement Award and Artist of the Year.
