Grammy Awards

Presented by the Recording Academy since 1958, the GRAMMYs are a celebration of excellence, the music community's highest honour, and its only peer-based award. Awards are presented annually across a wide range of categories, including nine classical awards.

The 61st Grammy Award-winning recordings were announced on 10th February 2019. Among those scooping an award across the eight classical categories are Andris Nelsons and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, violinist James Ehnes and tenor Karim Sulayman.
