Several of the winning recordings from this year's Gramophone Awards also feature in the top ten: Arcadi Volodos's masterly Brahms recital on Sony, the Pavel Haas Quartet's pair of Dvořák quintets on Supraphon, and John Nelson's much-garlanded account of Berlioz's Les Troyens on Erato, which scooped Recording of the Year.
