Presto Recording of the Week2nd April 2012
28th June 2012
Of the compilations released to mark the 150th anniversary of Claude Debussy's birth this year, this is the most treasurable. As a survey of the music of perhaps of the greatest 20th-century composer it could hardly be bettered...The piano music is wonderfully served...To get the set at less than the cost of four full-price CDs is a wonderful bargain.
