Interesting and unusual selection of solos and duets.
August 2015
Ilona Domnich retains facility and quality of tone right up to the top of the range; she throws in some unusual but apt decorations. Some singers find more flavour and range of mood than she does in the final section of Poulenc’s La Voix humaine, but her French is good and her performance possesses both sensitivity and vulnerability.
