January 2020

Now at last here she is in the Bach concertos that have surely been waiting for her...Add to that John Eliot Gardiner’s typically firm-handed elucidatory approach to articulation and the result is music-making full of detail and interest.

November 2019

Coupling considerations aside, this recording is up there with the best.

8th December 2019

The bonuses here are transcriptions, by Debretzeni and Wilfried Fischer, of two well-known keyboard concertos, which may or may not be “authentic”, but sound effortlessly violinistic as performed by these immaculate Bach players.

24th November 2019

Debretzeni’s joyful, spirited playing, precise but free, gives endless pleasure.

Ferbuary 2020

[Debretzeni’s] tone is consistently impressive... For all the bustle, there is composure too and plenty of colour – instances where the conversation is visited by sudden rushes of sound and obvious smiles. Much to savour.
