Christian Danowicz was born in 1983 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of four he emigrated with his family to France, where he started playing the violin under his father, the violinist and pedagogue, Enrique Danowicz. In his own words, Christian Danowicz describes his reason for releasing this collection of masterful French violin works - “The longing for a country where one spent his childhood and youth is one of the most common inspirations in art. I came to understand this phenomenon when, after a few years spent in Poland, I started to miss France. That was when I realized how much I got from this beautiful and culturally-rich country. French music, even in the case of the pieces I’ve chosen,

inspired by external phenomena such as German romanticism or Gypsy music, reflects the unique and subtle climate of France, evoking thoughts of its landscapes, poetry and paintings”.
