The great variety of music on this disc includes works such as Saint Saëns’ Danse Macabre and Tartini’s Devil’s Trill. The aim is to entertain and make light of the Devil. It is a tribute by the women of La Pietà to the creative powers of those wonderful composers inspired by such a rich subject which has nourished the imagination in a spectacular and magical way.
