A musical overview of a lifetime of recording, A Passion for Music commences with Solti's first recording for Decca as a conductor and concludes with his last concert perfomance. This unique 5 CD collection celebrates the 10th anniversary of Solti's death in September 2007. It also marks the 60th anniversary of Solti's first Decca recording (Beethoven Egmont Overture). A must for Solti collectors, with over half of the set featuring rare material, currently unavailable.
