Presto CD - Gaudeamus
The focus is firmly on early music for this week's batch of Presto CDs, as we turn our attention to ASV and restore forty titles from their acclaimed Gaudeamus series: we've received quite a few requests for the missing links in The Cardinall’s Musick's Fayrfax and Byrd discs in particular, and there are also some fine recordings from the likes of The Clerks' Group, Magnificat, The Band of Instruments, and the choirs of New College Oxford and Gonville & Caius College Cambridge. Full details below!
You can view all available Presto CDs (now numbering well over 1000 titles!) here.
