We’re excited to announce the addition of a further batch Chandos titles to our Presto CD offering, many of which have been unavailable on CD for several years. Established by Brian Couzens, Chandos has won many prestigious awards for its natural sound, and is best known for its ground-breaking search for neglected musical gems.
The titles being made available on CD again this time, include recordings by Margaret Fingerhut, Catherine Bott, Gervase de Peyer, Borodin Quartet, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Kathryn Stott, the Philharmonia Orchestra and more. Repertoire includes music by Finzi, Mozart, Schumann, Mahler, Arnold, Gubaidulina, Ireland, Milhaud, Bowen, Zemlinsky, Beethoven, Nielsen, Hindemith and Reger.
The ever-expanding Presto CD catalogue now stands at 4,621 titles, and you can browse them all here.
