With this edition (1st edition: 2000), the musical manifesto „L´Arte dei rumori“ (1913) by the Italian futurist painter and composer Luigi Russolo appears for the first time in its entirety in a German translation. Russolo's 'Plea for the noise´ was, and is, of eminent importance for new music, techno and industrial music. „Die Kunst der Geräusche“, with original visual material and sheet music examples as well as original sound recordings available via link, is an indispensable contemporary document.
