Makaya McCraven (Drums)
Makaya McCraven is an American jazz drummer and bandleader. Born in Paris to American drummer Stephen McCraven and Hungarian folk singer Ágnes Zsigmondi, before moving to Massachusetts at age three, he began playing in jazz hip-hop bands in high school. He later studied music at university and has worked estensively as a session musician, as well as producing numerous albums under his own name. (Photo by Nolis Anderson)
