The Worcester Cathedral Choir conducted by Donald Hunt present a program of choral works inspired by The Three Choirs Festival. All of the composers on this CD make their first appearance on Griffin in works inspired by The Three Choirs Festival, the longest running Musical Festival in the World. Whilst the Vaughan Williams Mass, the largest work here, was written originally for Holst`s "Whitsuntide Singers", RVW himself was a Festival stalwart.
