A fiery, devilishly fast tango with a mischievous wink. “Fast and furious” in 4/4 time – this piece races through B minor in just 2:11 minutes: sharp syncopations, crisp accents, and passionate, almost dramatic melodic lines in Jonathan Taylor’s distinctive style. A shot of Piazzolla energy, a touch of British humour, and plenty of playing pleasure for advanced pianists who enjoy speed and fire. Short, intense – and damn infectious.
