For the last year and more I have been preoccupied (almost obsessively) with two-part writing. The challenge to strip away all but the essentials is addictive. These four contrasting duets, written for a beautiful and (today) rather - and regrettably - under-used instrument, are designed above all to entertain both player and listener.
