Bassoon

The Bassoon is the lowest pitched instrument belonging to the woodwind family. Developed in the 18th Century; the bassoon is known for its distinctive warm and reedy sound similar to a baritone voice.Some popular bassoon pieces include Mozart’s ‘Bassoon Concerto’, Saint-Saëns ‘Sonata for Bassoon and Piano’ and Vivaldi’s ‘Bassoon Concerto’.
