Bartók’s Mikrokosmos needs no introduction, even to non-pianists. A pillar of piano tuition throughout many decades, it has inspired many compositions and arrangements. Now it is the turn of Siegfried Steinkogler to tackle these pieces and bring them to the attention of guitarists. Steinkogler’s arrangements for advanced guitarists will be suitable for tuition, private study or the concert hall.
