Symphony No. 6 was commissioned by the New York Philharmonic for its 125th anniversary, and is dedicated to the orchestra and its conductor, Leonard Bernstein. As a tribute to this powerful American composer, its premiere by that orchestra was led by the composer, himself. Currently, you can find the recent recording by Gerard Schwarz and the Seattle Symphony on YouTube. Six movements, played without pause. For advanced performers. Dur.: 21'
