The composition ''Red Rays'' for flute and piano is dedicated to the memory of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, and written for Agata Igras-sawicka and Maria Gabryś. It is a virtuosic work for flute and piano. Both parts constantly alternate, either contrasting with each other, or combining to form a unified whole. The music is characteristed by strong dramatic tension, rapid musical narrative and extremely rich sonic colours.
