Established in 1945, Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne (PWM) specialises in publishing scores and books about classical music, jazz, and now, more frequently, film music. Notable for the world’s first critical-source edition of the complete works of Fryderyk Chopin. Works by Witold Lutosławski, Karol Szymanowski, Wojciech Kilar, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Tadeusz Baird and Grażyna Bacewicz enjoy particular popularity and interest among performers.
