About
The experience of a lifetime!' Charles-Marie Widor (1844 - 1937) was a French organist, composer and teacher. Many of his compositions are for the organ and, of these, the Toccata from Organ Symphony No.5 is the most well-known. This arrangement was made for a concert given at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in November 1990. The arranger suggests that a better effect is obtained if the contrabassoon part can be doubled. Extra parts are available on request.
