An evocative and mysterious opening, heroic themes and cinematic scoring characterize this varied and musically rich piece by the well-known television and fi lm composer, Alan Lee Silva. The band writing is fresh and the tune from the slow middle section, which is divided among solo flute, oboe and clarinet, is particularly appealing. This piece will be a great choice for contest and concert use.
