Art Sheinberg has carefully arranged this original piece to sound full even if your group is not ideally balanced in instrumentation. Already a proven hit with students, this high-energy march contains bowing variety (lifts, accents, staccato, legato) and dynamics. As a result, it sounds harder than it is. Left-hand requirements are limited to first position and the first-finger pattern (key of D and G). Cello extensions are included but optional as is the high-third pattern for violas. Students will have fun and learn a great deal from this piece.
