These preparation activities help focus learning by 'playing with' each lesson piece aurally, visually and physically. Listen and Respond activities develop rhythmic and technical co-ordination; Read and Discover activities reinforce understanding and recognition of musical patterns and symbols. After each piece is mastered, Imagine and Create activities expand knowledge of newly-learned concepts.
