About
He knows Johann Sebastian Bach’s (1685–1750) entire keyboard œuvre, delights in exploring it on different instruments, has consulted harpsichordists, and has also drawn nourishment from the cantatas. Cédric Pescia has developed a highly personal approach to Bach’s music. Under his fingers it is never austere, but rather expresses the composer’s humanity, and with the six French Suites, the pianist takes us to the very depths of his soul.
