A cantata retelling of the Welsh legend of the Lady of the Lake, it's as psychologically true as it is vividly fantastical and expressively direct. Soloists Roderick Williams and Marta Fontanals-Simmons are supplely heartbreaking as the human-faerie couple, doomed by a community’s refusal to countenance difference.
