the show is carried by unobtrusively excellent conducting from the Royal Opera debutant Sesto Quatrini and three star performers. [Sierra] is a blissful Adina, vocally and histrionically, Liparit Avetisyan plucks the heartstrings as no-mates Nemorino, and Bryn Terfel (now in his buffo era) plays the greasy Dulcamara with vibrantly coarse charm.
