Britten’s anthem Rejoice in the Lamb gets a refreshingly unchurchy performance in Imogen Holst’s orchestral arrangement. As this orchestra has some leading soloists among its ranks we get the luxury of Julian Bliss on clarinet, vividly portraying the poet’s twisting, sunbathing cat.
