Featuring the wonderful combination of trumpets with organ, this CD is a combination of two LP releases from 1980 and 1982. Byron Pearson was trumpet professor at Oberlin University and had been in the Baltimore, St. Louis, and New Orleans Symphonies, and a featured soloist with the U.S. Marine Band in Washington, DC. Donald Tison was principal trumpet with the Baltimore Symphony from 1969 to 2000, and was trumpet teacher at the Peabody Conservatory. Arthur Vidrich was the first visually limited student to receive the DMA degree at the University of Michigan. He was, until his death in 2014, a prominent organ soloist throughout the Northeast U.S.
