Crisp tempos, disciplined ensemble, and solo improvisations both vocal and instrumental unleash the tremendous energy of the choir-and-solo Gloria…Vivaldi wrote for an all-girl choir – but apart from Lezhneva’s very gorgeous ‘Domine Deus’, fragility is banned from this Gloria.
