Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was the eldest son of Johann Sebastian Bach. His works were considered lost for a long time; since the 1990s, however, the number of recordings of his music has grown, which is not least due to a discovery of scores made in Kiev by a Harvard professor at the Berlin Singakademie.
