About

The hilarious new American 3D computer-animated musical adventure-comedy film feat. Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Bruno Mars, and Will.I.Am as dubbing voices in the English version. A x19 trk Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on 'Sony Classical', with score composed by the Grammy® nominated English composer John Powell. Powell honed his craft, along with contemporaries like Harry Gregson-Williams and Klaus Badelt, as a member of Hanz Zimmer's Remote Control Productions. John Powell has provided score for numerous films, including the Matt Damon-starring Bourne trilogy, X-Men: The Last Stand, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2, Rio, Ice Age The Meltdown and How to Train Your Dragon, the latter of which received an Academy Award nomination. The score features a couple of local Brazilian artists: Uakti, a Brazilian instrumental musical group, Milton Nascimento, a prominent Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist, Carlinhos Brown, a singer whose musical style blends Tropicália, reggae, and traditional Brazilian percussion, The Barbatuques, a reference group in Body percussion, which produces organic music using the body as a musical instrument.
