About
Adams’s fascination for the phenomena of modulating waveforms is the basis of the two works of his featured in this recording. Philip Glass’s Orphée Suite for Piano is based on his own chamber opera of 1991. Pianist David Jalbert, with his spirited and communicative style, incomparable stage presence and refined ear, has made himself one of the flag-bearers of the new generation.
