Gramophone Awards logoThe three finalists in each of the eleven categories for the 2026 Gramophone Awards (presented in partnership with Presto Music) were announced this morning, with 'intoxicatingly pained' Neapolitan madrigals from Concerto Italiano and Rinaldo Alessandrini, 'generous and loving' Bach from mandolinist Chris Thile, and an 'outstanding' world premiere recording of the late Kaija Saariaho's second opera Adriana Mater among the albums in the running. 

This year's ceremony will take place at the De Vere Connaught Rooms in London on the evening of Wednesday 7th October, when details of special prizes including Artist, Orchestra and Recording of the Year will also be unveiled...

Chamber

Dvořák & Price: Piano Quintets
