A very different take on the same work sits in the No. 2 spot: Chad Kelly’s new arrangement of the Variations for Rachel Podger and Brecon Baroque, which was described in The Guardian last week as 'a bold and different way to think about Bach’s unfathomable genius'. And Ólafsson's 2018 Bach album makes yet another reappearance in the Top 25, along with two more Deutsche Grammophon titles: Krystian Zimerman's recital of works by Szymanowski and Fabio Luisi's set of the Nielsen symphonies with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, both of which won Gramophone Awards last month.
