Written for alto saxophone and piano, it’s the kind of duet that works equally well for a recital moment, a rehearsal with a partner, or simply playing for the joy of blending sounds. The flugelhorn line sings naturally without pushing the range, while the piano part supports with clear patterns that sit comfortably under the hands. At an intermediate level, it offers enough to focus on tone, balance, and phrasing without turning into a technical obstacle course.
