About
This piece, in two parts, draws on my love of Medieval music. In the first section a series of fanfares gradually unwind themselves until they reach a point of stillness, and in the second part this process is reversed. The title refers to the idea of something moving into the distance, out of sight, before reappearing, returning and eventually passing by.
