About
These three pieces are reworkings of material from operas and other works originally for other instruments. The intention was to create authentic-sounding material for the two instruments. I have also borrowed material from composers who works for those instruments I have admired, not in the form of quotation as much in structure and texture. The composer-thief has then intervened with some ideas of his own. They are extravert little pieces with a strong sense of rhythmic drive.
