About
The Pool River is a small river that rises in South East London and eventually flows into the Thames as the Deptford Creek. Though much of the Pool River is now underground, there are several sections which are in the open air, and are delightful to walk along. My son Joe (then aged 10) and I used to love exploring them, and this short piece for piano, 4 hands, written in 1995, commemorates our riverside walks.
