With his „Gloria“ for eight-part mixed choir (SSAATTBB) a cappella, Alwin Michael Schronen sets the Latin text in a new way. He combines repetitive rhythmic motifs with exciting harmonies. The sectional structure and antiphonal double-chorus vocal writing bring a rich variety of dynamics and tempo to the music. This lively, festive piece is suitable for both church services and concerts by ambitious amateur choirs.
