Scored for solo soprano, mixed voice choir, oboe, trumpet and strings, this work was composed for the Brussels Choral Society. It uses verses from the King James version of the bible plus a metrical psalm and a Scottish paraphrase. It is not a difficult work and is suitable for choral groups with average ability.
