Abbey Suite' is a reflective set of pieces built around the daily services in the monks' round of worship: 'Vigils' and 'Lauds' being morning services and the other two closing of the day services. The cover picture is Kirkstall Abbey, in our home town of Leeds, Yorkshire, which is one of the finest preserved English Abbey ruins and the inspiration for the set. The pieces can be used as a set or individually in the liturgy.
