About
" unaM udēB is a Latvian folksong “Bēdu, manu lielu bēdu”, but sung in mirror fashion, beginning at the end. The melody is based on the original verse and refrain of the folksong, which has been harmonised for mixed choir from the last note to the first. The piece was composed for the female voices of the mixed choir “Maska”, but later arranged for mixed choir. The arrangement is complemented with body percussion."
