Commissioned by contrabassoonist Norman Spielberg, this concerto celebrates the extended range of the instrument. Originally scored for contrabassoon with clarinet, horn, and strings, this piano reduction stays true to the accompaniment. The warmly-received Concerto has been performed at IDRS conventions. For advanced performers.
