Kobolds are mischievous, gnome-like sprites from German mythology and folklore. Kobold Dance, written by Belgian composer Tom De Haes for Eb or Bb saxophone and piano, is inspired by these creatures. The work contains great musical diversityin connection with character, dynamics, articulation, rhythm and range, enabling the saxophone player to demonstrate his or her talents to the greatest extent.
