About
Divinities at Dawn springs from Ewazen's wind symphony, Celestial Dancers, and was first presented to Duo Chanot (Christopher Thompson, violin, and Michael Gurt, piano), who performed the premiere in 2006. The composer here transcribes the piece for flute and piano, as a dedication to the exceptional Marya Martin.
