About
A contemplation on the Crucifixion, Timothy Dudley-Smith's hymn text, "A Purple Robe," has found its way into many of today's hymnals. With phrases like: "I see my Savior stand...I see my Savior go...I see my Savior die....I sing my Savior's name," this is a moving reflection on Christ's journey to the cross. David Wilson's lovely hymn tune has a folk-like quality and is set for handbells in a thoughtful manner by arranger Kevin Ko.
