In this arrangement of Robert Lowry's beloved hymn, composer Cathy Moklebust has paid particular attention to the word "singing" through rhythmic and chordal punctuation, and through use of the Singing Bell technique. Both versions of the tune are used; Robert Lowry's original lyric, flowing version in ¾ meter, which uses plenty of LV and the optional use of handchimes, and the more contemporary version which is written in a rhythmic, energetic 4/4 meter, employing the use of malleted bells, and featuring the hymn tune played in a round. Editions for 2-3 octaves and 3-5 octaves are available, and are compatible for massed ringing.
