Inscribed by Charles Wesley as "Hymn for Easter Day," this essential selection provides a summary of both the experience and meaning of Christ's resurrection. Arranger, Cynthia Dobrinski, offers several performance possibilities in her 3-5 octave setting which has proven to be a best-seller in the Agape catalog. It may be performed as a prelude for bells and organ alone, or may be used to accompany congregational singing (with an optional soprano descant). Trumpet and timpani, or a brass quartet, may be added, heightening the impact of this glorious Easter morning hymn.
